Good day everyone!

Well, the day has arrived and we are finally off to San Francisco.  It is our hope to be able to share our trip with you as we go but I’d thought I’d start out our blog posts by letting you know where we’ll be and when.

June 19 – Travel day to Klamath Falls, OR
June 20 – Travel day to Walnut Creek, OR
June 21 – Service day at St. Anthony’s Foundation
June 22 – Service day at Pacific Lutheran Theological Seminary
June 23 – Play day in San Francisco (with some reflective learning as well)
June 24 – Service day at The Food Pantry
June 25 – Travel day to Roseburg, OR
June 26 – Travel day home

And that will be our trip.  I encourage you to click on the links to check out these various places – St. Anthony’s and The Food Pantry have nice videos sharing the vision and ministry of their organizations.  And please pray for us.  Not just for safe travel but for safe and God-centered learning.  Opportunities like this provide any and all who go a chance to step back from our normal lives, let the pressure of those lives be released and engage the world in a new way so as to better learn what God’s will and desire for us is.  Pray that Claire, Emelia, Sidra, Danielle, Jill, Phil, Kathe and myself might all be able to engage this trip in that way.
