Being The “New” Church

Good day to you all!  As you may be aware we are in conversations with Asbury United Methodist about partnership and resource sharing.  These conversations are moving along well (look for an update in our October newsletter) but in the meantime I refer you to this article (click here) printed in last Sunday’s Oregonian.  It is quite interesting to see how others are embracing the new reality and opportunity of being faithful in our world today!  Blessings to you!

  1. So good to be in touch with the people we care about at ORLC from Lima, Peru-where I can be more relaxed while George volunteers. It is a good feeling to be part of a congregation who are willing to move beyond the ‘box’ and open ourselves to our neighbors in many creative ways. We will continue to pray for that effort while we are away, and support it always.

    • Hi Pantely family,
So good to read about you.
Hope all goes well in Peru.
      Love to you both,
      Phil and Kathe Yokers
